MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (17-8, 13-6 PBC) women's basketball makes their last long trip of the season as they head to UNC Pembroke (8-17, 7-12 PBC) in Peach Belt Conference action on Saturday, February 23. Game time is set for a 1:30 p.m. tip-off in Pembroke, North Carolina.

Clayton State is an impressive 19-10 all-time against UNCP and are 10-5 on the road in the series. They have won 13 of the last 16 meetings with the only exceptions being a 69-59 Braves victory on January 19, 2015 in Pembroke, a 76-61 loss on the road on December 17, 2016 and a 53-47 decision at The Loch on February 17, 2018.
 
On February 25, 2017, the teams met in the PBC Tournament for the first time as the Lakers notched a 72-49 quarterfinal victory at The Loch. The series dates back to January 11, 1998 when Clayton State earned a 73-44 victory. Most recently the Lakers posted a 58-52 win in Morrow on January 26, 2019.
