MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (8-15, 5-12 PBC) men's basketball takes on second place Augusta (18-5, 14-3 PBC) on Wednesday, February 18 as they enter the final push for a berth in the 2019 Peach Belt Conference Tournament. Game time is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. at The Loch following the women's contest.
Augusta leads the
all-time series by a 22-14 margin dating back to the first meeting on December 29, 1995. The Lakers longest winning streak in the series is three, from February 1, 2003 through March 4, 2004, while the Jaguars won eight of nine from February 7, 2009 through January 9, 2017.

Clayton State snapped a three-game stretch with an 87-76 victory at The Loch on December 30, 2017 and turned it into a two-game winning streak with an 85-72 decision in Augusta on February 12, 2018. Augusta ended that this year, however, when they posted a 101-66 decision on January 5, 2019 at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
