MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (15-7, 11-5 PBC) women's basketball is peaking at just the right time as they host third place Flagler (16-6, 12-4 PBC) on Saturday, February 16. Game time is set for a special 3 p.m. tip-off at The Loch.
 
The Lakers currently hold down the No. 4 spot in the standings but a win would vault them ahead of the Saints by virtue of an 87-76 overtime victory in St. Augustine, Florida on December 1.
 
The Lakers lead the all-time series 10-2, dating back to the first meeting on November 17, 2006. They won the first five meetings, and following a 74-63 win by FC on January 4, 2014, won the next three.
 
Those included a 90-71 home victory on January 17, 2015, a 70-58 decision on January 16, 2016 in St. Augustine, Florida and a 70-62 decision at The Loch on January 16, 2017. The Saints snapped that streak with a 97-91 double-overtime win at The Loch on December 2, 2017 but Clayton State answered with a thrilling 57-56 win in St. Augustine on February 10, 2018.
 
Overtime games have become the norm as the Lakers earned that 87-76 decision earlier this season on December 1, 2018.
