Clayton State Heads to Milledgeville Seeking to Hold Georgia College at Bay in PBC Standings

MORROW, Ga. – Entering the home stretch of the league season, Clayton State (14-7, 10-5 PBC) women's basketball travels to Georgia College (10-11, 8-7 PBC) looking put some distance between them and their nearest challenger on Wednesday, February 13. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. in Milledgeville, Georgia.

The Lakers currently hold down the No. 4 spot in the standings with GC directly behind them at 8-7 in PBC competition.

The Clayton State holds a 33-22 lead in the all-time series, dating back to the first meeting on January 27, 1992. The series dates back to the first season of Laker women's basketball and is the most prevalent matchup in program history with 55 all-time meetings. Last season Georgia College snapped that streak on January 10, 2018 with a 69-67 victory in Milledgeville, Georgia before Clayton State began a new streak with a 55-52 win on February 7 at The Loch. Earlier this season they extended the new stretch two in a row with a 70-56 victory on January 16 in Morrow.
