BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Clayton State women's indoor track & field delivered seven Top-10 finishes, including four within the top five, as they competed at the Southern Indoor Challenge on Monday, February 11.

Sophomore
Corta'Nasha Mutcherson (Savannah, Ga.) led the charge with a 2-of-38 finish in the 400-meters, posting a time of 59.15, while senior
Ariel Boyd-Ghani (Powder Springs, Ga.) was 3-of-20 in the seldom run 600-meters (1:44.15). The former also added a 9-of-61 outing in the 200-meters with a mark of 26.25.

Not far behind was senior
Carla Catala Martin (Barcelona, Spain), who delivered a 4-of-21 performance in the 3,000-meters (10:46.52), and junior
Jasmine Radford (Lawrenceville, Ga.) who ran a time of 25.97 to finish 6-of-61 in the 200-meters. She also was 15-of-38 in the 400-meters (1:03.30).

Senior
Destiny Johnson (New Iberia, La.) added three solid performances in the field portion of the meet, headlined by a 4-of-18 finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.50-meters. She was also 9-of-19 in the triple jump (10.25m) and 17-of-36 in the long jump (4.71).

Freshman
Kiara Green (Ty Ty, Ga.) and junior
Shockera Betty (Tallahassee, Fla.) rounded out the top field finishes with an 11-of-35 outing in the shotput (10.79) and 13-of-36 performance in the long jump (4.82m), respectively. Betty would go on to add a 17-of-43 finish in the 60-meters with a time of 8.31.

Chaviya Jackson (Albany, Ga.) delivered impressive outings in the 400-meters, finishing 9-of-38 (1:01.16), and 200-meters at 11-of-61 (26.56) while senior
Sierra Glenn (Riverdale, Ga.) was not far off in either event. She placed 11
th in the 400-meters with a time of 1:01.75 and 12
th in the 200-meters at 26.57.

Clayton State will return to action this weekend when they head to the USC Open on Saturday, February 16.
