Most Frequent Series Continues With 53rd All-Time Meeting as Clayton State Hosts Georgia College

MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (2-6, 0-1 PBC) men's basketball looks to end the decade with a positive note as they host Georgia College (4-6, 1-1 PBC) on Saturday, December 21. Game time is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. following the women's game.

The most frequent series in program history with 52 meetings, the all-time series is currently tied at 26-26 dating back to the first meeting on December 8, 1990 in the first season of the program. GC dominated the first 12 meetings, winning 10 of them, but the Lakers have gone 24-14 against the Bobcats since then, a stretch that began on January 13, 2001.

Over the last 19 meetings Clayton State is 13-6 and have won four of the last five, including an 86-80 overtime thriller on February 7, 2018 at The Loch. Back-to-back wins in Milledgeville (69-65 on February 18, 2017 and 88-64 on January 10, 2018) began that stretch and snapped a three game Georgia College win streak. Clayton State claimed an 82-67 victory in Morrow on January 16, 2019 before the Bobcats produced an 89-78 win on February 13 of this year.

Coverage of the game will be available on both live video and live stats. All coverage will be available on www.ClaytonStateSports.com with a full recap following the contest. Mitch Evans and Bill Schindler will bring you the call of all the action on the broadcast.
