MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (4-5, 1-2 PBC) men's basketball returns to action following more than two weeks off as they travel to Augusta (6-3, 2-1 PBC) on Saturday, January 5. Tip-off is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. in Augusta, Georgia following the women's contest.
 
Augusta leads the all-time series by a 21-14 margin dating back to the first meeting on December 29, 1995. The Lakers longest winning streak in the series is three, from February 1, 2003 through March 4, 2004, while the Jaguars won eight of nine from February 7, 2009 through January 9, 2017.
 
Most recently Clayton State snapped a three-game stretch with an 87-76 victory at The Loch on December 30, 2017 and turned it into a two-game winning streak with an 85-72 decision in Augusta on February 12, 2018. Additionally, they are 3-11 on the road in the series history with that most recent win being the first in Christenberry Fieldhouse since an 83-66 final on January 4, 2006.
