MORROW, Ga. – Following three games in five days on the road, Clayton State (10-6, 6-4 PBC) women's basketball finally returns home as they host UNC Pembroke (6-10, 5-5 PBC) in a key Peach Belt Conference meeting on Saturday, January 26. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m. at The Loch.
 
Clayton State is an impressive 18-10 all-time against UNCP and are 8-5 at home in the series. They have won 12 of the last 15 meetings with the only exceptions being a 69-59 Braves victory on January 19, 2015 in Pembroke, a 76-61 loss on the road on December 17, 2016 and a 53-47 decision at The Loch on February 17, 2018.
 
On February 25, 2017, the teams met in the PBC Tournament for the first time as the Lakers notched a 72-49 quarterfinal victory at The Loch. The series dates back to January 11, 1998 when Clayton State earned a 73-44 victory.
