MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (5-8, 2-5 PBC) men's basketball begins a stretch of three games in five days, all on the road, as they travel to No. 7/10 USC Aiken (14-1, 8-1 PBC) on Saturday, January 19. Game time is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. in Aiken, South Carolina following the women's contest.
 
In a series that dates back to December of 1996, Clayton State holds a 20-18 edge and got the better of the Pacers last season with a come-from-behind 73-70 PBC semifinal victory. In 38 meetings, the teams are fairly evenly split in terms of venue, with the Lakers at 10-8 in Morrow and 8-7 on the road in Aiken.
 
They have met five times on a neutral court with the Pacers holding a slight 3-2 edge in those situations. Additionally, Clayton State has won four of the last six meetings since February 10, 2016 but dropped a 99-76 decision at The Loch on December 17.
