Clayton State Looks to Extend Four Game Win Streak With Georgia College Set to Visit The Loch

MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (8-4, 4-2 PBC) women's basketball wraps up a mini two game homestand as they host Georgia College (5-8, 3-4 PBC) on Wednesday, January 16. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. at The Loch.

The Lakers hold a 32-22 lead in the all-time series, dating back to the first meeting on January 27, 1992. The series dates back to the first season of Clayton State women's basketball and is the most prevalent matchup in program history with 54 all-time meetings. The clubs have also met at least once in 28 of the last 29 years, with the lone exception being the 1992-93 campaign.
 
Since GC won 18 of the first 23 meetings through February 28, 2004, the Lakers have held a 27-4 streak that includes a 15 game win streak dating from February 6, 2010 through February 18, 2017.  Last season Georgia College snapped that streak on January 10, 2018 with a 69-67 victory in Milledgeville, Georgia before Clayton State began a new streak with a 55-52 win on February 7 at The Loch.
