MORROW, Ga. – Having not seen the friendly confines of The Loch for game action since the third week of December, Clayton State (4-7, 1-4 PBC) men's basketball returns home to take on Francis Marion (8-2, 4-1 PBC) on Saturday, January 12. Tip-off is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. following the women's contest.

Clayton State is 19-9 all-time against the Patriots, dating to the first meeting on November 25, 1994 at The Loch. The Lakers have posted two separate five game winning streaks, first from January 6, 2001 through March 1, 2003 and again from January 24, 2009 through January 7, 2012.
 
Clayton State has won four of the last five meetings, including the last two. The Patriots picked up an 82-79 decision in Florence on January 7, 2017 while Clayton State won 66-59 on January 6, 2018 when FMU was ranked No. 23 in the country.
 
In the most recent meeting, they claimed an 84-70 victory at The Loch on February 3, 2018. Additionally, the Lakers are an outstanding 12-2 all-time at home in the series, not having lost since a 70-61 decision on January 21, 2013.

Promotions
Both the women's game and the men's that follows directly after will also be Community and Recreation Day at The Loch. There will be free admission to residents of the Tri-County area encompassing Clayton, Fayette and Henry counties and the first 100 children in attendance will receive a Laker themed prize.
