MORROW, Ga. – As the last game in a three game road trip, Clayton State (17-5, 15-3 PBC) heads to North Georgia (10-14, 8-10 PBC) on an eight game winning streak, the program's longest since 2008-09. The game is set for Wednesday, February 14 at approximately 7:30 p.m. following the women's game.
The Lakers and the Nighthawks are tied in the all-time series 19-19 dating back to the first season of basketball in 1990-91. That first meeting came on January 30, 1991 at The Loch. Following three losses to start the series, Clayton State won seven straight from February 15, 1992 through February 6, 1995 before dropping 15 of the next 17 meetings through February 11, 2012.
Â
Since then the Lakers have won ten of the last eleven, including seven straight from January 12, 2013. Most recently they took out UNG by a convincing 96-79 score on January 29 at The Loch.
