MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (3-4, 0-1 PBC) men's basketball kicks off the Peach Belt Conference season in earnest with one of their toughest games, in or out of the league, as they host No. 7/8 USC Aiken (9-0, 3-0 PBC) Monday, December 17. Game time is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. at The Loch following the women's contest.
 
In a series that dates back to December of 1996, Clayton State holds a 20-17 edge and got the better of the Pacers last season with a come-from-behind 73-70 PBC semifinal victory. In 37 meetings, the teams are fairly evenly split in terms of venue, with the Lakers at 10-7 in Morrow and 8-7 on the road in Aiken.
 
They have met five times on a neutral court with the Pacers holding a slight 3-2 edge in those situations. Additionally, Clayton State has won four of the last five meetings since February 10, 2016.
