MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (2-3, 0-1 PBC) men's basketball resumes their non-conference schedule as they head to North Carolina to take on Lenoir-Rhyne (8-1, 2-1 PBC) on Wednesday, December 12. Game time is set for a special 12 p.m. tip-off in Hickory.
 
The Lakers hold a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series, dating back to the first meeting on December 1, 2006. That first game ended up at 68-49 in Salisbury, North Carolina with the other being an 83-69 victory in the second round of the 2008 NCAA Division II Tournament. Clayton State picked up that victory on March 16 of that year, in overtime, at Christenberry Fieldhouse in Augusta, Georgia. The teams have not played since.
