MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (1-1, 0-0 PBC) continues a challenging opening slate as they are back in action this weekend as they head to North Carolina for the 53^rd Annual Pickle Classic from November 16-17 in Mount Olive, North Carolina.
 
The Lakers will face host Mount Olive (1-1, 0-0 CC) on the opening night at 7 p.m. before taking on Barton (3-0, 0-0 CC) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 17. Both games will be the first against those programs in team history.
 
UMO enters the weekend having dropped a season opening 77-73 decision to Augusta (11/9) and after picking up a narrow 59-57 win over Georgia Southwestern (11/10). For the Bulldogs, they sport an unblemished record following three wins over the first week. Those included 80-72 over Georgia Southwestern (11/9), 89-76 vs. Augusta (11/10) and 98-61 over Coker (11/13).
