MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (8-3, 6-1 PBC) enters the weekend tied for first place in the Peach Belt Conference as they take on USC Aiken (7-4, 4-3 PBC) to begin a three game homestand on Saturday, January 13. Game time is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. following the women's contest.
 
The Lakers hold a narrow 19-16 advantage in the all-time series, which dates back to December 7, 1996. They have had two separate four game win streaks (Jan. 5, 2002 through Mar. 5, 2003, Jan. 31, 2005 through Jan. 27, 2007) but Aiken had the longest stretch with five in a row from March 2, 2012 through February 11, 2015. Clayton State snapped that stretch with their 83-78 win in Aiken on February 10, 2016 and extended to two in a row with a 93-89 decision on December 19 of that year. In their most recent outing on December 16, 2017 they picked up a 67-64 victory in Aiken.
