MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (2-13, 0-10 PBC) begins a three-game homestand to close out the regular season when they host No. 31 Georgia College (8-7, 5-3 PBC) on Friday, April 7. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Clayton State Tennis Facility.

In a series that has been marked by long win streaks, the Lakers find themselves
trailing 15-12 since the first meeting on March 9, 1997. There has never been a win streak of less than three games in the series by either team, a stretch which began when Georgia College won the first four through the 2000 season.

Clayton State followed with three straight from 2001-02 before the Bobcats claimed the next seven from March 23, 2003 to March 2, 2007. It would be the Lakers turn the next six years as they won a series best nine straight from April 20, 2007 through March 20, 2013. Since then GC has notched victories in each of the last four meetings, including an 8-1 decision most recently on February 21, 2016 in Milledgeville, Ga.
