MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (11-11, 6-7 PBC) men's basketball takes on North Georgia (12-10, 8-5 PBC) in a critical matchup in the Peach Belt Conference West Division on Monday, February 6. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at The Loch following the conclusion of the women's contest.
 
The Lakers trail the all-time series 19-17 dating back to the first season of basketball in 1990-91. That first meeting came on January 30, 1991 at The Loch. Following three losses to start the series, Clayton State won seven straight from February 15, 1992 through February 6, 1995 before dropping 15 of the next 17 meetings through February 11, 2012.
 
Since then the Lakers have won seven of the last eight, including five straight from January 10, 2015. Most recently they knocked off the Nighthawks by an 80-71 score on January 18 at Memorial Hall.
