MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (4-3, 2-1 PBC) will close out the 2017 portion of the schedule with an early battle for a potential spot in first place in the Peach Belt Conference as they host Augusta (6-3, 3-0 PBC on Saturday, December 30. Game time is set for approximately 3:30 p.m. following the women's contest.
 
Augusta leads the all-time series by a 21-12 margin dating back to the first meeting on December 29, 1995. The Lakers longest winning streak in the series is three, from February 1, 2003 through March 4, 2004, while the Jaguars have won eight of the last nine, including a five game stretch from February 7, 2009 through February 7, 2013. Last season they claimed the only meeting by an 83-73 score at The Loch on January 9, 2017.
