MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (2-1, 0-0 PBC) wraps up the non-conference portion of the schedule as they host Shaw (2-4, 0-0 CIAA) for the first time since 2010 on Wednesday, November 29. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
 
The Bears come in having lost three straight, including a 103-88 decision at Peach Belt Conference member Francis Marion on November 21. Their two wins have come against Lock Haven (78-70) and Salem International (93-85) in consecutive games.
 
The Lakers trail the all-time series against Shaw 2-1 following the first meeting in six years last season. Prior to the Bears 77-75 last minute win in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 21, 2016, the clubs had not met since the 2010-11 season. The Bears won the first meeting 68-64 on December 18, 2009 before Clayton State answered back with a 66-65 decision the following year on December 30, 2010.
