MORROW, Ga. – In a rematch of last year's NCAA Division II Southeast Region Quarterfinal, Clayton State (0-2, 0-0 PBC) will travel to No. 12/24 Lincoln Memorial (1-2, 0-0 SAC) on Saturday, November 18. Game time is set for a 2 p.m. tip in Harrogate, Tennessee.
 
LMU enters the game with a surprising 1-2 record following losses to No. 15 Lander (65-60) and UVA-Wise (83-80). Their one win was a 79-63 decision over USC Aiken on November 11. They are ranked No. 12 in the D2SIDA Preseason Poll and No. 24 in the WBCA/USA Today Preseason Poll.
 
All-time, the Lakers are 2-2 against the Railsplitters dating back to the first meeting on November 20, 1994. LMU won that game 73-56 before the teams took a 13-year hiatus. When the series resumed, it was Clayton State earning a 74-63 win on November 16, 2007 and a 64-55 decision on December 29, 2010.
 
Last season on March 10 the teams met in the postseason for the first time with LMU posting an 87-58 decision in the Southeast Region Tournament Quarterfinals in Columbus, Georgia. This will be the first ever meeting in Harrogate, Tennessee.
