Clayton State Heads to Lander For Key Peach Belt Conference Tilt

MORROW, Ga. – No. 22 Clayton State (9-2, 1-1 PBC) heads into the new year with a key road Peach Belt Conference tilt at Lander (7-3, 1-1 PBC) on Wednesday, January 4. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. in Greenwood, South Carolina.

The Lakers lead the all-time series 20-10, dating back to the first meeting on January 31, 1998. In the history of the series, Clayton State holds a nine-game win streak from January 15, 2005, through March 15, 2008, which is the longest between the two teams. The Lakers have won five of the last seven dating to March 3, 2012 but the Bearcats have taken two of the last three, including a 95-67 decision in last year's PBC quarterfinals on March 5.
