Trip to Surprising Georgia Southwestern Up Next For Clayton State

MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (14-4, 6-3 PBC) travels to a surprisingly strong Georgia Southwestern (11-5, 6-3 PBC) team on Wednesday, January 25 The game is set for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off in Americus, Georgia.
 
The Lakers lead the all-time series 24-12 dating back to the first meeting on January 4, 1992 during the first season of women's basketball. After going 4-11 over the first 15 meetings, Clayton State proceeded to win the next 18 from January 3, 2007 through February 7, 2015.
 
The Hurricanes snapped that streak with a 71-59 victory in Americus on January 27, 2016 before the Lakers rebounded with a 68-47 decision at The Loch on February 6 of that year.
