Orange Out On Tap as Clayton State Hosts No. 15/16 Columbus State

MORROW, Ga. – A second straight game against a nationally ranked opponent is up next as Clayton State (14-3, 6-2 PBC) hosts rival No. 15/16 Columbus State (14-1, 8-1 PBC) in a key Peach Belt Conference meeting on Saturday, January 21. The game is set for 1:30 p.m. tip-off at The Loch. The game will also be an Orange Out and all fans are encouraged to wear orange to support their team.

The Lakers trail the all-time series 26-22 dating back to the first meeting on November 25, 1995. With 48 meetings, it is the second most prevalent series in program history, trailing only the 50 games against Georgia College. The Cougars won 18 of the first 20 meetings before Clayton State responded by taking 20 of the next 22. Since March 8, 2014, however, Columbus has won the last five outings, including a 68-59 decision on February 24, 2016.

The game will be available both on live stats live video coverage on www.ClaytonStateSports.com.
