MORROW, Ga. – With a pair of victories already in the books over Gulf South Conference opponents, Clayton State (2-0, 0-0 PBC) returns to Laker Field for their home opener against a third GSC foe, Valdosta State (0-1, 0-0 GSC), on Wednesday, September 7. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
The game will be only the
second time the teams have played each other following last season's meeting. The Blazers earned a 2-1 victory in Valdosta, Georgia on September 15, 2015.
Additionally, it will also be International Student Night as the Lakers celebrate Clayton State's international diversity. At halftime, members of each country represented will be recognized with their flags.
The evening will also include a special pregame presentation that will impact every Clayton State student-athlete.
