MORROW, Ga. – Finding themselves a game back of the final Peach Belt Conference Tournament spot,  Clayton State (13-8, 8-6 PBC) hits the road for the first of three straight games away from home. They open that stretch at USC Aiken (6-15, 4-10 PBC) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10.
 
The Pacers, two years removed from a Final Four appearance, enter the game with a three-game win streak following a stretch of 11 losses in 12 games. Their recent three wins have come over league leading Young Harris (90-81), UNC Pembroke (85-76) and Lander (73-67).
 
Clayton State broke a two-game losing streak in their last outing as they returned to The Loch and downed Georgia Southwestern 68-55 on February 6. Before that they dropped an 80-70 decision at Augusta (1/30) and fell 88-86 at Columbus State (2/3) on a last second jumper.
 
Nationally, the Lakers rank in the Top-20 statistically in three categories. Those are led by a No. 8 ranking in blocked shots per game (5.1) along with being No. 15 in total blocks (108) and No. 16 in field goal percentage defense (.400).
