MORROW, Ga. – With four games remaining in the regular season, Clayton State begins a huge stretch with a trip to Peach Belt Conference leading Montevallo (15-7, 11-4 PBC) on Saturday, February 13. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m. (EST) following the conclusion of the women's contest.
The Falcons, following a rough start to the season, have not only leveled out but have excelled in their last nine games. During stretch they have won eight games, with the only loss being a 91-90 overtime decision against a tough North Georgia squad. Most recently they pulled out an 80-75 victory over Columbus State (2/10) in a battle of top teams.
For the Lakers, these next four games will decided whether or not they have a shot at a West Division title or if they even make the PBC Tournament. Currently they are two games back of both UM and Young Harris and a game back of Columbus, with a win over the latter.
They are even with Georgia College but lost the initial game to the Bobcats, as well as against YHC and the Cougars. After taking on the Falcons, their final three games are all against the teams that are directly ahead of them in the standings. Most recently they took down USC Aiken (2/10) 83-78 to continue to stay within striking distance.
Full live coverage of the game will be available through live stats and live video on
