MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (3-3, 0-0 PBC) will resume a series that has not been played since 1998 when they host NAIA member Allen (4-5, 2-2 AAC) on Monday, December 5. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at The Loch.
 
The Lakers hold an 8-0 advantage all-time in a series that dates back to November 18, 1993. That day Clayton State recorded a 111-70 victory in Morrow, Georgia and followed with a 113-70 beating the following year on November 22, 1994. After escaping Columbia, South Carolina with a narrow 78-76 victory on November 18, 1996, the Lakers recorded their third 100-point game in four tries later that year with a 101-64 decision on December 2.
 
Allen was once again tough at home as it was only a nine point margin, 86-77, on December 2, 1997 but would surrender triple-digits again, 120-100, at The Loch 16 days later. The trend of the Yellow Jackets playing well at home in the series was then quashed on November 24, 1998 as the Lakers posted a 72-29 victory, with the 29 points still standing as the fewest ever allowed in program history. The last meeting was a 94-59 Clayton State victory in Morrow on November 30, 1998.
