MORROW, Ga. – Ranked No. 15 in the WBCA/USA Today Sports Coaches Poll and No. 20 in the D2SIDA Media Poll, Clayton State (8-1, 0-0 PBC) begins its 22^nd season in the Peach Belt Conference when they travel to UNC Pembroke (4-2, 0-0 PBC) on Saturday, December 17. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m. in Pembroke, North Carolina.
 
The Lakers are an impressive 16-8 all-time against UNCP and are 9-4 on the road in the series. They have won 10 of the last 11 meetings with the one exception being a 69-59 Braves victory on January 19, 2015 in Pembroke. The series dates back to January 11, 1998 when Clayton State posted a 73-44 decision.
