MORROW, Ga. – Having played their last five games in the friendly confines of The Loch, Clayton State (5-4, 0-0 PBC) hits the road for the first time in three weeks as they travel to UNC Pembroke (6-2, 0-0 PBC) to open Peach Belt Conference action on Saturday, December 17. Game time is set for 3:30 following the conclusion of the women's contest.

The Lakers are an
impressive 21-5 all-time against the Braves dating back to the first meeting on January 11, 1998. After dropping two of the first three meetings, Clayton State has dominated the series, going 20-3. That included a 12-game wins streak from February, 17, 2001 through December 1, 2007 and a current run of eight wins in the last 10 outings.

Among the highlights in their three-game win streak is a 69-66 win in Pembroke on January 19, 2015. On that day, the Braves were ranked No. 14/15 in the country. It is also the last time they hit the road in the series, where they are 9-4.
