MORROW, Ga. – Facing top teams this season is nothing new for Clayton State (4-1, 0-0 PBC) and they will continue that part of the schedule as they travel to No. 11/12 Union (3-0, 0-0 GSC) on Saturday, November 26. Game time is set for 3 p.m. (EST).
 
The Bulldogs have won their first three games this season after going 28-4 last year and earning an NCAA Division II Tournament No. 1 seed. That has included a 75-65 victory over No. 23 Nova Southeastern (11/12). Union is No. 11 in the D2SIDA Media Poll and No. 12 in the WBCA/USA Today Sports National Poll.
 
For the Lakers, they hit the road after demolishing Paine (11/23) 91-62 at The Loch. UU will be the second nationally ranked opponent they will face on the season. In the season opener, they took down No. 21 Anderson 84-73 on November 11 and then downed NCAA Tournament team Wingate 73-72 in overtime the following day.
 
This will be the third all-time meeting with the Bulldogs, a series that stands at 1-1. A fairly recent series, the Lakers won 66-44 in Jackson, Tennessee on November 17, 2012 before Union clamed a 74-65 decision the following year on November 19 in Morrow.
