MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (6-4, 1-2 PBC) returns home for their first game at The Loch in 2016 as they host Montevallo (7-3, 3-0 PBC) on Monday, January 4. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the women's game against the Falcons.
 
A perennial power in the Southeast Region, getting a bead on Montevallo this season has not been an easy task. They opened the season with a 93-72 win over Carver (a team the Lakers beat 102-73) and then proceeded to lose three straight, including back-to-back games to Tuskegee. Following an 86-78 loss at West Georgia (12/1), the Falcons won six in a row before struggling to make it seven with a 74-64 victory against Georgia Southwestern (1/2).
 
Clayton State returns home following a tough 79-71 loss at Young Harris this past Saturday. That loss is their third in the last four games after a 5-1 start. They look to get off the snide as they host not only one the teams that is usually at the top of the Peach Belt Conference by the end of the year, but also the Southeast Region.
