MORROW, Ga. – Following a brief one game road swing, Clayton State (8-5, 3-3 PBC) returns to The Loch to take on Georgia College (11-4, 4-2 PBC) in a divisional game in the Peach Belt Conference on Wednesday, January 13. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the women's game.
The Bobcats enter having won six of their last eight games, including four of their first six PBC contests. During that stretch they earned victories over Clark Atlanta (92-79), Morehouse (77-65), USC Aiken (65-55), UNC Pembroke (77-74), Georgia Southwestern (70-56) and Montevallo (79-66). Their losses came at the hands of North Georgia (78-67) and, most recently, No. 18 Columbus State (83-82).
The Lakers have alternated wins and losses over the course of their last six games as they come in with an 8-5 overall record. Among those three wins was a 72-67 victory over defending PBC champion Montevallo (1/4) and a 76-74 thriller at UNG (1/9) this past weekend.
