MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (2-0, 0-0 PBC) men's soccer is set to wrap up a season opening three-game homestand as they host Tampa (1-2, 0-0 SSC) in non-conference action on Saturday, September 12.
The Lakers entered the week following a pair of impressive victories to start the season, but have been off for the past week as their scheduled game against Eckerd was rained out on Thursday, September 10.
Clayton State notched a 3-1 win over Erskine (9/3) and 2-1 overtime decision against Anderson (9/5) to start the season while the Spartans have dropped back-to-back 2-1 road decisions to West Florida (9/5) and North Georgia (9/10). Those losses followed a 2-1 overtime loss at NCAA Division II transitional team Spring Hill.
