MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State (5-1, 0-0 PBC) will host Lane (4-6, 2-1 SIAC) in the second game of a home-and-home series in their final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday, December 15. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at The Loch.
Since suffering a n 80-54 defeat to the Lakers on November 18, the Dragons have won four of their next seven to improve to 4-6 on the year. Among those victories are a 77-76 win over Paine (12/7) and a major upset of previously undefeated Columbus State (12/12). The latter was a team receiving votes in the NABC National Poll and came by a score of 74-69.
Clayton State, meanwhile, has won five of its first six games to start the season. In all five of those wins, the Lakers have surpassed 75 points with a high water mark of 102 in a victory over Carver (11/25). They enter the contest following a 98-67 whitewashing of Trevecca Nazarene (12/7) in their last outing.
