Men's Cross Country By Mike Mead, Head Track & Cross Country Coach

Men's NAIA National Cross Country Championships

Recap consists of post-meet comments by head coach Mike Mead

A nice ending to our first season. Matt completed his FIRST season of cross country by placing in the top 200 (198 out of 306) and ran his best time (CSC-best for 81) of the year. Matt went in knowing the odds and worked with North Georgia's Jason Barker to run a smart race. Had the course been dry, rather than ice and muddy, no telling how much faster Fabbri would have run. Now that we know what it takes to compete at this level, we're going to all work hard in the off-season to get more Clayton State representation to this meet next year.
