Keeling delivered a tremendous Month of March, going 6-2 at No. 1 singles and 5-4 at No. 1 doubles. During that time she faced five teams that were nationally ranked, including No. 1 Armstrong State, No. 4 BYU-Hawaii, No. 30 Flagler, No. 34 Shorter and NAIA No. 1 and defending national champion Georgia Gwinnett.
At one point she won five straight singles matches, including a marathon 7-5, 6-7, 15-13 decision over Flagler’s No. 1 player. She also defeated Shorter’s top player 6-3, 6-1. In doubles play, Keeling teamed with Raluca Pavel to win three straight near the beginning of the month, again knocking off the Saints No. 1, and only dropped 8-5 decisions to Armstrong and Georgia Gwinnett and an 8-6 final to BYU-Hawaii.
