Junior forward Jaylen Taylor (Tampa, Fla.) delivered a strong first month of the season to pick up Male Student-Athlete of the Month honors for November.
In just 17.8 minutes per game, Taylor averaged 9.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in four games, three of which were starts. He also shot .600 (12-of-20) from the floor and .714 (15-of-21) at the foul line.

After starting slow against No. 2 Queens (11/15), the front court force improved in each of the next three games. At LeMoyne-Owen (11/20) he put up 11 points and six boards before finishing with nine points (including 7-of-8 shooting from the foul line), seven caroms and career-best three assists at King (11/25).

He would wrap up the month with the best performance of his career, this coming against Shaw (11/29). In that game he produced career-highs of 16 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 6-of-8 (.750) from the field and 4-of-7 (.571) at the foul line.
