Heritage High School: Four year member of Patriots track & field program, specializing in discus and shotput … recorded 39 top five finishes, including 24 in the discus, 14 in the shot and one in her lone 4x100 relay appearance … of those, eight were first place performances with six coming in the discus … excelled over her final two years with 21 of those top five outings, as did five of her first place performances … as a junior, earned trip to Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Championships in discus along with total of six region championship appearances spanning all four of her years … made two of those trips in the shotput, finishing 3-of-12 as a senior after a trip to the 5A Region 8 Championship as a freshman … qualified all four years in discus, winning the region as a senior with a 1-of-12 outing after placing third as a freshman and sophomore and fourth as a junior … claimed the Most Valuable Field Athlete award at the Atlanta Games meet as a senior with a second place finish in the discus and third in the shotput …  outside of HHS, competed in the Junior Olympics for discus, javelin and shotput with Impact Athletics Track & Field … notched personal best distances of 32.92-meters in the discus at the NewRock County Championship as a senior (3/26/19) and hit a distance of 10.97-meters in the shotput … latter would come during her sophomore campaign at the Patriots Early Bird Invitational … just as successful in the classroom, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.92 GPA and made both the A/B Honor Roll and Principals List.
 
Personal: Born on March 28, 2001, Kimberly is the daughter of Rosa Fernandez … family includes two siblings, Lila Umana and Megan Fernandez … currently majoring in Criminal Justice.
