Brainerd High School: Played three years of tennis at Chattanooga, Tennessee based BHS following the reinstatement of the program in 2014 … along with twin sister Brittney and father Alphonso, helped lead the Panthers to first District 6A/AA Championship in 2015, the first in more than 50 years … teaming with her sister, was a three-time District 6A/AA Doubles Champion … as a senior, posted sterling 15-1 singles record and 12-1 doubles mark … at the club level, member of USTA Junior Team Tennis State Champions.
 
Hiram High School: Member of HHS women’s tennis program as a freshman.
 
Personal: Born on August 17, 1998, Brianna is the daughter of Alphonso and Cora Canty … family includes two sisters, her twin Brittney (18) and Ashley (25) … mother and father both played basketball at Morristown College … father also played football at Carson-Newman (1970-73), is the program’s all-time single season leader in interceptions (11 in 1972), tied for third in career picks (18) and was a free agent signee of the National Football League’s Houston Oilers … sister, Ashley, was a two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference tennis player at Division I Murray State (2009-13) … currently majoring in Nursing with Basic Licensure.
