2014: Saw action in 16 games, including four starts … had two goals and a pair of assists for six points … posted goal and assist in 5-0 win at Georgia Southwestern (10/22) … had goal vs. Pfeiffer (9/12) and assist against North Greenville (9/23).

2013: Appeared in 19 games, starting 16 … posted a pair of assists on the season … had solo assists in 3-3 tie vs. Wingate (9/5) and 6-1 win over Tennessee Temple (9/18).

2012: Played in 18 games as a freshman, starting 17 … scored three goals and had one assist … had two game winning goals … had assist in first career game, a 3-1 victory over Pfeiffer (8/31) … delivered solo goals at UNC Pembroke (9/22), vs. Lander (10/6) and at Georgia Southwestern (10/17) … the latter came in a 1-0 win.

North Gwinnett High School: Competed in tennis, wrestling and soccer for the Bulldogs … helped lead NGHS to 2010 Georgia AAAAA State Championship, 2011 State Runner-Up finish and 2009 and 2010 region championships.

Personal: Born on May 19, 1994, Brooke is the daughter of Randy and Laura Bortles … family includes three cousins, Blake, Colby and Alexa … Blake played football at Central Florida and is currently the starting quarterback for the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars after being the No. 3 overall selection in 2014 … Colby plays baseball at Division I Ole Miss … Alexa plays professional tennis … father, Randy, coaches wrestling at Mountain View High School and has had a hand in establishing programs at Shorter, Brewton-Parker and Truett McConnell … her uncle, Rob, played Division I football at Georgia Southern from 1981-85 … currently majoring in Criminal Justice.
