2002: Ran a season best 5K time of 21:10.55 at Peach Belt Conference Championships, placing 36th in the event. Ran a season best 6K time of 25:51.7 at NCAA Division II South Regionals.
2001: Ran a personal best time of 20:31 at Georgia Collegiate Championships, placing 28th in the meet ... Ran her second fastest time of 20:49 at PBC Championships, placing 17th in the race ... Ran a personal best 6K time of 25:41 at NCAA Division South Regionals.
Pre-CCSU: A 2001 Eagles Landing Christian Academy graduate, Gilbert was four-year letter winner in track and field. Eagles Landing Christian does not run cross country, but she has a 23:50 for a 5K event. Received the Academic Athlete of the Year award at ELCA and was a honor roll student. Lettered in softball, basketball and track. All-Region in four events in track as a senior and received the high points award at state.
