- Opened the season with a 25th place finish in the Coach Gary Wilson Invitational (West Georgia)
- Followed that performance with a 32nd place result in the Peach Belt XC Preview (North Georgia)
- Set a personal-best time of 22:18.5 while finishing third for the Lakers
- Improved by just under a minute in the following race on the same course
- Finished third for the Lakers and 42nd overall in the Peach Belt Conference Championship (North Georgia)
- Ran a 21:30.2, a personal-best 5k time
