Volunteer Assistant Men's Golf Coach

A local businessman and 53-year resident of Clayton County, Martin officially joined the men’s golf program as a volunteer assistant prior to the 2018-19 campaign.

CLAYTON STATE
Already a longtime supporter of Clayton State Athletics, Martin has been around the Lakers since the 2004-05 season and can often be found at basketball practices with his son Alex.

PERSONAL
Al has been happily married to his wife of 27 years, Valencia, and the couple have three children. In addition to Alex, who has become a fixture at Laker home and road games, these include Anna and Natalie.
