Freshman newcomer that will give the Lakers depth and continue to develop over his four seasons with the Lakers... Looks to be Clayton State's No. 5 or No. 6 runner this season.
High School: Lettered four seasons in cross country and track and field at Luella High School in Locust Grove, Ga... High school head coach was Richard Westbrook... High school teammate of fellow Clayton State recruit Tanner Thomason... Helped pace Locust Grove to three straight region runner-up finishes and berths in the state meet... Ran a career-best 16:23 for 5K cross country and turned in a season-best last season of 16:58... Is the Luella record-holder in the 3,200-meter run with a best mark of 10:08.63... Finished runner-up in the Region 2-AAAAA meet and placed 13th in the Class AAAAA Georgia State Track and Field Championships in May... Also posted career-best times 4:43.34 in the 1,600-meter run and 2:06.97 in the 800-meter run.
