2015: Played in all 24 games, starting 23, for National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Semifinalist … team went 21-3, tying program record for wins, finished No. 4 in the nation and made fifth straight trip to NJCAA National Tournament … team also won Region VI Championship … named KJCAA All-Conference First-Team … delivered one assist on season in 3-2 win over national power Hutchinson (10/16) … was a candidate for NJCAA Academic All-American honors … named to President’s Honor Roll for second straight year.
 
2014: Appeared in 22 of 24 games, making five starts … helped guide BCC to NJCAA National Tournament before falling to No. 1 Iowa Western (11/19) … earned KJCAA All-Conference First-Team … posted one assist on the season, that coming on the go-ahead goal in 3-1 win over Hutchinson (11/7) in Region VI Championship victory … academically, earned spot on President’s Honor Roll … member of Phi Theta Kappa, honor society of the two year school.
 
Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School: Four-year member of the Crusaders soccer program … named All-Conference all four years, including First-Team as a senior and Second-Team as a junior … at the club level, played for the Kansas Rush.
 
Personal: Born on October 9, 1995, Erika is the daughter of Paula and Mike Gurnsey … family includes a brother, Andrew (25) who graduated from Kansas, and a sister, Jennifer (28) who graduated from Wichita State … father, Mike, ran track at Kansas State … currently majoring in Biology.
