2014 All-Peach Belt Conference Second-Team (400m Hurdles)

Indoor Track & Field
2014-15: Competed in three meets and 10 events … had three top five finishes … was third in 4x400-meter relay at the Sewanee Tiger Indoor Invitational (2/14) also placed fourth in the 55-meter hurdles (9.01) and fifth in 200-meters (27.45).

2013-14: Saw action in four meets and 11 events … won a pair of competitions, including the distance medley relay (12:52:37) at the Winston-Salem State Open and 400-meters (1:04.09) at the Sewanee Tiger Indoor Invitational (2/1) … finished second in distance medley relay (13:18.68) at UCS Invitational (2/15).

2012-13: In five meets and 14 events, earned three top five finishes as a freshman … that included a first place finish in the distance medley relay (2/16) at the JDL Fast Track Championship Tune-Up (2/16) … was also third in DMR (12:48.40) at the Emory Crossplex Invitational (1/28) and fifth in DMR (13:44.70) at Winston-Salem State Open (1/20).

Outdoor Track & Field
2015: Appeared in five meets and competed in 15 events … notched seven top five performances, including in four of first five events … won the 4x400-meter relay (3:56.07) at the Emory Invitational (3/21) … placed fourth in that event at Peach Belt Conference Championships (4/18) with a time of 3:56.09 … was third in 400-meter hurdles (1:06.86) and fifth in 400-meters (1:00.85).

2014: Competed in seven meets and 17 events … posted 12 top five performances, including a victory in the distance medley relay (12:51.33) and third place finish in the 4x200-meter relay (1:47.69) at 4th Annual Adonica Ferguson Relays (3/2) … also had runner-up outing in 4x400-meter relay (4:17.55) and took third place in 400-meter hurdles (1:09.54) at Cougar Invitational (3/1) … earned three more runner-up finishes in the 4x100-meters (49.55), 4x400-meters (4:08.43) and 400-meter hurdles (1:06.74) at the Emory Classic (3/29), Furman Blue Shoes Collegiate Track & Field Meet (4/12) and Peach Belt Conference Championships (4/19), respectively … the latter also earned her All-Peach Belt Conference Second-Team honors in the 400 hurdles …

2013: Saw action in five meets and 15 events … posted three top five finishes, including a third place outing in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.56) at the Furman Blue Shoes Invitational (4/13) … was also fifth in the 4x400-meters (4:09.84) and 400-meter hurdles (1:07.43) at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (4/20).

Statesboro High School: Competed in track and field for SHS.

Personal: Born on December 22, 1993, Shanice is the daughter of LaWanda McMillan and James Walker … family includes two cousins, Shannon and Sterling … both played in the National Football League with Shannon being inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011 following a career with the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens … Sterling had a standout career with the Green Bay Packers … currently majoring in Health and Fitness Management.
