MORROW, Ga. -- The Clayton State men's soccer team will travel to Queens University (N.C.) for a Tuesday night non-conference matchup.
Coming off a 2-0 win over Erskine on Saturday, the Lakers will look to add to their winning streak. Clayton State opened the season with a 2-2 draw against Lees-McRae.
The match is slated for a 7:30 p.m. start time. Live stats and live video can be found
here. The Lakers lead the all-time series 5-2-1, but Queens has won the previous two meetings in 2018 and 2017.
The Royals have played just one match in this young season, losing 3-1 to Belmont Abbey on Saturday.
Geo Rios and
Langston Blackstock are once again leading the Lakers this season. Rios leads the team with four points (1g,2a) while Blackstock has three points (1g,1a). Newcomer
Joe Conway also has three points off one goal and one assist while
Lewis Green has one goal and
Alexis Iturria has one assist.
Theo Blachon has played every minute in goal and has produced five saves and a 1-0-1 record.
After Tuesday's match, Clayton State will host Auburn-Montgomery on Friday for a 7:00 p.m. start before hosting Tampa on Sunday for a 1 p.m. start time.
