CARROLLTON, Ga. – The Clayton State women's soccer team lost 4-0 to West Georgia in its first road game of the season on Wednesday night.

The Wolves (2-1) jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute and closed the half with a shot advantage of 9-1.
 
West Ga. then added to its lead in the 61st minute after a successful penalty kick before scoring in the 68th minute to pull ahead 3-0.
 
The Lakers managed three shots in the second half while Valentina Bonaiuto had seven saves.
 
The Wolves closed the game with a goal in the 84th minute.

- Clayton State hosts No. 1 Flagler College on Saturday to begin Peach Belt Conference play.
