MORROW, Ga. – The Clayton State men's soccer team heads to North Georgia on Monday for a Peach Belt Conference matchup.

Both teams started the season playing each other in Peachtree City, Ga. The Lakers won that matchup 2-1 with goals from
Brad Kay and
Alexis Iturria.
Geo Rios had assists on both goals.
Clayton State currently sits fourth in the PBC standings with a 2-2-0 record while the Night Hawks are 0-5-0.
The Lakers enter the matchup on a one-game winning streak after rolling Flagler 4-1 on Feb. 28.
Langston Blackstock scored the first two goals of the game before
Mitro Turunen and Rios scored in the second half to put Clayton State at .500 for the season.
Rios leads the conference with five assists and nine points.
Lander sits atop of the conference standings with a 4-0 record. The Lakers and Bearcats will face each other on Thursday at Lander.
Young Harris is second in the league while Georgia Southwestern is third. Clayton State lost to both teams by one goal each.
